TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE

Although it's been two years, Mark has never forgotten the brief yet hot affair he spent in the arms of the sexy schoolteacher. When he finally returns home for Christmas he hopes for a second chance. To his surprise, he finds out that Essence wasn't the only thing he left behind.
Broken hearted Essence never bothered to tell Marks she was pregnant. However, when she runs into his sister KELLY at the mall she knows there is no way to keep her secret any longer.
After being home less than an hour, Kelly breaks the news to her brother that he is a father. Furious, Mark goes in search of Essence for answers.
They've been apart two years and yet Mark's mere presence still makes Essence weak at the knees. Nevertheless, when he accuses her of keeping his son away from him, she quickly comes to her senses. He demands to see their son and reluctantly she agrees.
Mark's anger subsided at the sight of TYLER and his resentment for Essence quickly turns to desire. Essence allows him in her home but vows he'll never win her heart again.
Refusing to allow his child to grow up without a father Mark asks Essence to marry him. She rejects his offer knowing he doesn't really love her. Besides, duty and desire were not enough to build a marriage on and Essence refuses to be any man's ball and chain. Mark tries to convince her otherwise, but after having her heart broken once, Essence doesn't have the time or the energy to get involved with Mark again.
But as Christmas nears and the two share in the joy of the holiday season, they find that their connection runs deeper than the son they share.
