HELLO ALL!
I’ve been saying
for awhile I was about to make a major change in my life, well, I
finally did it. On 26 July, I joined the Air National Guard!
It still feels like a dream. Some people say I’m crazy but I’ve wanted
to join the military since I was in my twenties. Unfortunately, I
had a young family at the time and had to put my own dreams on hold
and then I got older and thought it was too late. To my excitement,
the U.S. Air Force raised the age limitation and after receiving an
exception to policy, I aced my ASVAB and physical, and, finally, was
sworn in, in front of three dozen friends. February I will be
